Hydralyte’s partnership with Timmy Global Health provides the organization with Oral Rehydration Solutions. The team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other volunteers in Guatemala bring healthcare aid and relief to various local communities. Through this work, these communities can receive access to healthcare and nutrition.
Members of the Hydralyte team traveled to Guatemala this summer with Timmy Global Health and students of Boston College to volunteer their time in support of this great organization. Colorado’s Channel 2 News at 4pm (KWGN-TV) in Denver helped elevate the cause by featuring photos from the trip and a Skype video interview with a Colorado-native nurse, Rachael Glassman.
In the video interview, Glassman shares, “The first time I went [to Guatemala] was almost a bit sad and then you realize it’s just different. Their lives are infinitely simpler than ours.”
The reporter in the segment, Kevin Torres, states, “Since 2015, Rachael Glassman has worked as a nurse at Aspen Valley Hospital. She has been to Guatemala four times now, along with Timmy Global Health and Hydralyte to help the poor children in that country.”
